I spent the past weekend in New York City. During the trip I made the following observations:
1. I have no problem taking a 50 minute subway ride and then a 12 minute bus trip to stand in a line for 45 minutes to go through security to be an hour early for a plane that is an hour late to then fly 3 hours, but that 2 hour car ride from KC to Manhattan takes FOREVER.
2. I like sitting in Time Square and watching the people, but why do people pay to have their picture taken with dirty, poorly costumed characters on a street corner? I just don’t get it.
3. We went to see a Mets game while in NYC. I took pictures of the sunset and planes flying over. My husband watched the Royals game on his phone…well we went to a Mets game:)
4. First day in NYC I walked 23,000 steps. Yesterday at home I walked less than 3000…just an observation.
5. Broadway plays, museums, flea markets, street fairs, train-tram-bus-boat rides, food and more food. Thanks for a great time.
