vehicles have the right of way

Vehicles have the right of way in China and other random observations:

Get out of the way, a car or bus or scooter or bike is coming. If they want to go somewhere they go. Few lights and no rules as far as I can see. Just go.

Feel like singing or dancing, go to a park in China. Want a little tai chi or gymnastics, head to a park in China. Want to sing with hundreds of people, again go to a park in China. Participate. It seems to be the thing to do. Loudest park I have ever seen and heard.

Speaking of tai chi…I don’t get it.

Archeological digs seem interesting but I’d like to see it in action rather than after the fact. I guess I’ve been to Disney World too many times and know that magic can be created. Terra-cotta Warriors were amazing to look at though.

What would someone do with a life sized replica of a Terra-cotta Warrior with their own face on it for $2000 shipping not included?

Dumplings have zero calories. They have to because I ate over 20 of them at one dinner!

Tour companies schedules sometimes make no sense. There is a city wall in Xi’an, China. We’ve driven around it at least 10 times. We hear more about it every time and they took us to a boring overcrowded museum instead.

“The government will take care of it.”

Shanghai here we come.
